Late 19th century architecture designed for the cement manufacture, we are close to Bergamo. Spent a long time of frenetic activity in the late 60’s,the complex was entirely discarded and abandoned. In 2006 the building has been recovered and converted into a multifunctional cultural centre where they found space for artisans workshop, office, residence and Museum of contemporary art. Our firm has worked together with the new property at the design of residential space based on the utmost modernity using materials such as steel, glass and polycarbonate giving us the chance to maintein the character and visibility of the native architecture. The project represents one of the best example of industrial archeology in Italy.
